About Me

Hi... Im Jodie Nielsen ~ the designer and maker behind Jodie Lee Jewellery.

I create handcrafted artisan Jewellery inspired by nature, ancient symbolism, organic textures and the beauty of perfectly imperfect forms.

Based on the Copper Coast in South Australia, each piece is thoughtfully designed and made in my home studio using precious metals and carefully chosen gemstones, with a strong focus on Australian Opals and Sapphires.

What began as a creative outlet during motherhood slowly evolved into something much deeper... a way to express emotion, connection, storytelling and artistry through wearable pieces designed to last a lifetime.

My work blends rustic luxury with organic elegance. Some designs are raw and textured, others delicate and minimal, but every piece is created with intention, soul and appreciation for craftsmanship.

My Style + Philosophy

Jodie Lee Jewellery is deeply inspired by the natural world... weathered textures, ancient landscapes, ocean tones, raw stone formations and perfectly imperfect beauty.

I'm drawn to jewellery that feels meaningful rather than mass produced. Pieces that carry character, texture and individuality.

Many of my designs, I've began incorporating hand-cut gemstones into my work, creating an even deeper connection to the materials and allowing greater creative freedom throughout the design process.

Every piece is handcrafted and usually made as one of a kind with occasionally small batch collections... using ethically sourced materials whenever possible.

Behind The Scenes

Behind every finished piece is a slow and intentional process.

From sketching ideas and selecting stones, to sawing, soldering, polishing, carving, casting and setting... each detail by hand... jewellery making is a balance of patience, experimentation and craftsmanship.

I love sharing glimpses into my creative process... the tools on my bench, rough gemstones before they are transformed, molten metal and imperfect beauty throughout the making journey.
